Pink Shirt Day is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness and inclusiveness. It’s about creating a community where all people feel safe, valued and respected, regardless of age, ability, religion or cultural background.
Here is Ngakaunai and Manawaroa celebrating Pink Shirt Day with Mrs Falconer!
What did you wear for pink shirt day?
What kind words can we say every day?
How can we make someone’s day better?
Ngākaunui and Manawaroa here! We had such a great time dressing up in pink. It looked good on everyone.
Here are some ideas that we thought of what to say and do to be kind;
Use encouraging words like “You can do it!!!”
Commenting on someone’s work “It’s beautiful!” or “I like your drawing”.
Saying “You are doing awesome!”
Saying, “I like your outfit”, and “You are a cool person”.
