Wow, week 5 was busy.  We had many awesome things happening in Te Ara Takitini including the Life Education Bus, The Duffy Book Show, cooking apple crumble and potato chips from the fruit and vegetables in our school garden, and finishing off with our Takitini Pool Party and first Fish Ticket Values assembly.

The lovely Helly and Keri and of course Harold taught us about friendships, our emotions, and what tools we could use to help regulate them.

 

   

The Duffy Book show was very entertaining with detectives Duffy and Scruffy solving a mystery alongside a variety of other intriguing characters.  Lots of laughter and hilarity this afternoon.

   

   

This week Te Ara Takitini also had a bit of fun using our very own potatoes and apples and made air fryer potato chips and apple crumble which was enjoyed by all.

   

   

Thursday was awesome with our Takitini Pool Party.  The highlights were definitely the inflatables and other pool toys.  Definitely needed after students completing three assessments this week.  Ka pai te mahi Te Ara Takitini!!

               

         

We also celebrated our tamariki that had reached milestones in the amount of fish tickets they had received with our whole kura.
